This segen destroyer is an example of the initial move away from unitary hulls to the completely "fragmented" design. The hull and primary weapon systems are integrated into the hull while the spider (power source with armoured cowling) and drive array are separate. When in combat, the ship also deploys weapon moons that encircle the ship and provide shielding and defensive fire.

O_o NICE, ive been thinking up some designs myself, still all in mah head but this one made me rethink mah destroyer for the "republic Fleet" i want to draw out.

Very cool design, and I especially like the drive sails at the back of the ship.

I would like to ask a question if I may; how do you come up with all of designs for your ships, because no matter how hard I try I cannot think up a good design.
